Books are precious products. They permanently accompany any kind of creative work and must provide readers with the information they contain over a long period of time. These requirements set extreme high standards that can only be met by high-quality produced books not by works as they result from semi-professional type setting with oridnary office applications and low-cost digital printing and binding practices.

We therefore exclusively rely on professional type setting systems and traditional book manufacturing methods: TeX for the prepress, offset printing on selected papers and modern hand binding for the production process. Covers fully clad in resistant materials like cloth or leather and with embossed title information are standard as well.

Produced according to these standards our titles are logically part of the high-priced segments of the market, however, they are not prohibitively expensive. Anyway, the investment is worthwhile: The paper of our books is resistant, the printing non-fading and still contoured even after many years gone by. The cover provides high mechanical stability to the codex, the innerbook closes accurately but the pages do not fan out due to the paper's high quality, etc.

Both, book printing and binding are arts and crafts; hence the resulting book a piece of art. We vouch for the accuracy of the whole book production process in order for the title to come up to its content. The author intends nothing less for his book; nothing less his readers expect.
